The Wendy Williams Show: Hit or Miss?

Love her or hate her, I must admit I am hooked.

New Jersey’s own, Wendy Williams is taking over television. Love her or hate her, you must admit her new show, The Wendy Williams Show is a hit.

The show needs some minor tweaking. Initially I was worried about the show’s longevity, after viewing the premiere. Well, she’s improving daily and now seems more comfortable in front of the camera.

There’s always a party on the set of her new show. Her theme song is reminiscent of New York’s talk show legend, Ricki Lake.

Wendy also reminds me of Tyra. Do you see any similarities between her and Tyra Banks? I am so surprised by how much she looks like Tyra. Perhaps it’s the makeup. Do they have the same glam squad?

Wendy certainly has her own unique personality. And no one in the media has a personality that matches her. I sure hope Wendy’s wit and straight shooting persona doesn’t change as her show becomes more successful. We don’t need another cookie cut of Tyra,

The only gripe I have about the show is the audience seating arrangements. Either they are sitting too close together or Wendy’s size is giving the illusion of a cramped space.

Today’s show features guest, Antonio Sabato Jr. He is still eye candy after all these years. He’s not aging at all.

Antonio is on Wendy’s show promoting his new VH1 reality show. I love reality TV, however am I the only one tired of VH1 fake, find me love shows? On the other hand, I will make an exception and watch every episode of sexy Antonio.

Another segment on today’s show, featured guest chef Ingrid Hoffman. I don’t know which is funnier, watching Wendy stand next to her miniature size guests or watching her cook. Wendy is a train wreck in the kitchen. I though all black women in her age range knew their way around a kitchen, apparently not.

Whether you love or hate her, we can all agree that her show is entertaining and refreshing. I am definitely staying tuned for more. “How you doing?
